$1 trillion deficits seen for next 10 years...Show me the Money

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama's budget would generate deficits averaging almost $1 trillion a year over the next decade, according to the latest congressional estimates, significantly worse than predicted by the White House just last month.

The Congressional Budget Office figures, obtained by The Associated Press Friday, predict Obama's budget will produce $9.3 trillion worth of red ink over 2010-2019. That's $2.3 trillion worse than the White House predicted in its budget.

Hot Damn, My first comment with dissent has arrived, Thanks Steve

Thank your lucky stars that Obama is President and not George Bush. All of these problems began during Bush's 8 years of complete incompetence and he did nothing. GM, Chrysler, etc. need to reorganize just like Delta did and they will come out just fine. No rewards to the undeserving anymore. If you are going to chronicle Obama's years, start with Bush and see if you have enough room to print all of the bad things about him.

Thanks for the comment Steve,
I didn't vote for Bush, I voted for Pat Buchanan. I never liked the Bush dogma after Bush 1 said "read my lips". I wrote them off then.I disliked Bush politically, I loathe Obama, and I am loathing him more every day, personally and politically. Is that a crime? Bush was a pre-cursor to Obama, Bush was no conservative. I respect your right to say I need to thank my lucky stars, but I do not. Your and my country and our way of life that many of our Fathers, Uncles, and Brothers have given their lives for is under full assault by a man who is making slaves out of our children and grandchildren. They will toll their lives away to pay off this socialist initiative and personal vendetta of Obama. They will do this without the reward that only this country offers. I don't know if you have kids Steve, but without the "kids cliche", I really do think this country was created so that the possibility of increased quality of life would grow from generation to generation. I realize that day is over. Hey, maybe I'm wrong, but my life experience tells my gut that I'm not, and my gut is moving my fingers, and I intend to defeat you Steve. Me and my pitiful little blog may change the hearts and minds of just enough people to put things back the way I want them. Until then enjoy your victory and hate on Bush all you want. We probably agree more on Bush than not. It has been mind-expanding to blog on Obama nightly for 3 months now, I have actually completed a degree of study and education on him that few Democrats will ever do. And , yea, I have 1350 more days of class.

Steve, if Bush was bad , then Obama is Super-bad. Check the spending forecast, he's gonna spend way more money than Bush, although with respect to you Bush spent way to much. No rewards to anyone anymore, thus spake Obama..

So, with that,i bid you a grand life, and I thank you for the structure and tone of your dissent, you seem like a nice guy, lets link sites together if you wish. I will make a special blogroll for democratic gentlemen such as yourself.... good
luck....Mark

Salary control: You knew it was coming

By Michelle Malkin • March 31, 2009 10:42 AM

This is not a surprise. Grabby Hands Barney Frank has been signaling his salary control plans for weeks. In early February, you’ll recall, he told Business Week that compensation restrictions might be restricted to all US companies, not just TARP recipients.
